ABOUT NYO

Nneka Roberts, NYO (New York Original) Designs, is a Caribbean American multidisciplinary artist based in Houston, Texas. Her art practices span from graphic design, drawing, painting, sculpture, pattern design, custom bags, t-shirt graphic artist and mixed media artist.

 

Nneka has an achieved an undergraduate degree in visual communication from Pratt Institute in 2003. Since then, she has internationally worked as a production artist and lead graphic designer from print shops, colleges, organizations, music producers, fashion designers and promotional teams to name a few. 

 

In 2013 she started her freelance design company NYO Designs that led to the birth of The Artist NYO and MozebyNYO where she explores artistry on apparel and accessories.
